2026/2027 Season

Trials for the 2026/2027 season will start at the beginning of September. We'll be entering teams into the Surrey CVL at U14's, U16's and U18's age groups. If you want to tryout for a team you'll need to purchase a tickets and attend one of three tryouts, from the tryouts Coach Junior will select the teams for the coming season. Tickets for the tryouts will be available from Eventbrite.
The Tuesday Open Training session's will start from 22nd September 2026. We've decided that we're going to alternate the Tuesday's session between boys only and girls only. These sessions are for school years 7, 8 & 9 and designed for new players or for those players who weren't selected for the squad. Tickets will be available to purchase via Eventbrite.

​​​​U14's, U16's & U18's Squad Training
Training for the U14's squad is Thursday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm during term times (September - end of June).
Training for the U16's squad is Thursday's 7:30pm - 9:00pm during term times. Both the squad training sessions take place at the Phoenix Centre in Wallington.
Training for the U18's squad is Monday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm, training sessions will take place at the Wlalling High School for girls.

Under 12's
Unfortunately we aren't running a team for U12's this season, we're inviting Year 7's to attend the Tuesday U15's open training session

U15's Open Training Session
These sessions are for school years 7, 8 & 9 and designed for new players or for those players who weren't selected for the squad. These training sessions take place at the Phoenix Centre in Wallington on Tuesday's 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Tickets can be purchase via Eventbrite or via the link below. ​
Senior Teams
Senior Men's and Women's teams training is Sunday's 3:30pm - 5:00pm at Whitgift School for Boys.

About Us
Sutton Storm Basketball Club is a non–profit community basketball club run by volunteers attracting young people from the Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington and Croydon area of South London. The club was started in 2006, to create U18 basketball sessions for local teenagers with a passion for basketball.
Today, we run training sessions and teams competing in the Surrey Central Venue League at various age groups.
All our coaches are Basketball England Level 2 qualified coaches, DBS checked and have under gone safeguarding training and we always have a first aider present at training sessions.
We're looking for new paid coaches if your a Basketball England Level 1 or Level 2 qualified coach and want to get involved we'd love to hear from you.
