Sutton Storm Basketball Club
U14's Training Session Information 2022/2023 ​
U14's is for mixed boys/ girls, boys who will be in school year 9 and under from September 2022, girls who will be in school year 10 and under from September 2022.
This season we're going to be entering 2 teams into the Surrey CVL (Central Venue League). These teams will be called Sutton Storm Hurricanes and Sutton Storm Tornado's, training sessions are going to be held at The Phoenix Centre in Wallington.

Sutton Storm Tornado's - Wednesday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Sutton Storm Hurricane's - Thursday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Trials & costs for 2022/2023 season
Trials will start week commencing 12th September and last for 3 weeks which takes up to the end of September - Trials will be charged at £5.00 per session and tickets can be purchase via Eventbrite.

Costs for next season
Those that make the squads will need to make a one of payment of £55.00 (£25.00 membership + £30.00 October training fees). Then standing orders to be set-up for the 5th of the month, the first payment starting 5th November and the last payment 5th June 2023.
CVL games will be charged at £6 per game
Basketball England Membership is required and is separate and is £8.50

Bursary places/part funded places
We're very pleased to be able to offer a limited number of part funded places, these part funded places will only be available for players selected for the squads and not for players who attend the Tuesday open sessions.
The bursary places will be available to children who receive Free School Meals (FSM). We'll need parents to provide either a HAF Code, E-voucher Code / Grocery Ecode. Which if parents don't have they can be obtained from the child's school. Under 12's
Unfortunately we don't have coaches for this age group at the moment, we're still hoping to find a solution.
Mixed boys/ girls – boys who will be in school years 6 & 7 from September 2022, girls who will be in school years 6, 7 or 8 from September 2022. We're currently looking for a coach for this age group.

Monday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Sutton Grammar School, Sutton
Boys and girls in school year 13 and under, girls born on or after 01/09/2003.

Open Training Session for U15'sTuesday's 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Tuesday's 7:00pm - 8:30pm - The Phoenix Centre, Wallington
This is an open training session for anyone in school years 7 - 10, these sessions are for players that want to improve their basketball skills, these sessions are ideal for players that weren't selected for the teams or for new players wanting to join the club. To attend these sessions players need to purchase a ticket, tickets are £8.00 each.
